Our emergency unit at Medland Hospital manages all emergency and critical cases. The departmental staff comprises specialized nurses and doctors who assess the patient and perform specialized emergency care inclusive of investigations while providing lifesaving treatment before the patient is admitted for further care.
In addition, the department has an active trauma centre that responds to and provides the highest level of surgical care to trauma patients in the emergency department, theatre rooms, and critical /intensive care units. All trauma services are performed by trauma surgeons.
We equally provide ambulatory services and have an emergency response unit within the hospital. All our ambulances are fully equipped with patient life support which is essential during transportation from site to hospital or from hospital to hospital in case of referrals. There is a helicopter landing zone to receive airlifted patients who are critically ill or injured and require emergency medical care.
